The end is near.........

The title of my post sounds a bit creepy but this is the truth: "our course is slowly coming to an end, but only to mark a new beginning in our teaching process. As far as you can see I have already got into the melancholy of the farewell mood :)

Meanwhile this week has been as full as the previous weeks. As a matter fo fact we started slow and now we are letting it flow :)

What I  have got is that a person is a bundle of multiple intelligences he/she makes use of in the process of learning. Definitely, one may prevail over the others, but does not exclude them. I found the variety of offered web tools for every intelligence apart very useful. You can notice that some of them are repeated, eg. blogging is good for intrapersonal and interpersonal inteligences, whwereas, Powerpoint, I would say, is an "omnipresent" tool. So we have the possibility to choose what best suits our educational goals.

I have also rediscovered the benifits of the butterflies-in-my-stomach feeling caused by tests and learned a new maxim "Forgetting is a friend of learning". Above all I have finally submitted my project plan. I hope it is not bad as I worked hard on it just like all of you did, I'm pretty sure.

Now what I want to do is... (this addresses musical/rhythmic intelligences :)

  1. Hi, Vicky!
I agree with you that the online course we are finishing marks a new beginning in our teaching process. I think this course pushed us to change our teaching or at least to develop it.
Congratulations on submitting your project report!
My wish is also to break free after such hard work.
    All the best!

  2. Hi, Vicky!

Yes, the course is coming to the end... I consider this as a start of something new. As I am concerned I am going to use the new tools and tips I have learned during this course. I am sure that the next school year will be full of innovated and interesting lessons.
We have been working hard on our final project, and I will make better projects in future because I have learned the things I did not know.

  3. Vicks! You’re right I didn’t remember the emotion of finish something, some sacrifices were done but the reward as usual is better, I’m going to miss my maniac Mondays reading like crazy, and the deadlines at mid week!
Excellent choice with the song, take care and do not forget about me, please.

  4. Hi, Vicky!
We are full of knowledge how to teach with technology. May be we are a part of technology now.Now I think about teaching from another point of view.I think what technology to use in this or that activities with my children. And I want to use all tools we are learning now. I don't want to think about the end I think that technology is the best tool to solve the modern goals of teaching: to develop students multiple intelligences,to teach students to use learning strategies and so on...
I agree with you that a blog is an enjoyable learning environment for learners with intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligences where they can communicate with a great amount of people and learn them.
    Have a good weekend!
I hope we continue our communication.
