David Norton, our English Fellow in 2010 - 2011, organized at the end of his stay a conference for the regional teachers from the Northern Part of Moldova. I was invited to contribute with a presentation to the conference, which I gladly did. As we are talking about assessment this week, I decided to post my presentation, maybe you'll find some interesting things in it.
I find your presentation very interesting and useful. You have covered so many different aspects of assessment and given more than enough good examples. What I also like is the element of humour you always add to your posts and presentations.

I am glad that my presentation was useful for you. Thank you for noticing 'the element of humour' in my posts as I was afraid it might pass unnoticed :)

Hi Vicky!
ReplyDeleteYour presentation is really great. It summarises the main objectives of assessment. Especially I liked the activity on self assessment, with your permission I will use it with my students.
I agree with Marija, you have a subtle sense of humor.
P.S. I am sorry I have problems with my blog. Trying to fix it I mistakenly deleted your post. Thanks God it was saved in my mail box, I posted it again.

Hi Victoria!
DeleteYou are more than welcome to use everything that suits your teaching goals. No worries, I know how it happens when you delete something you didn't mean to.
