It is commonly acknowledged that people write things to be read. Definately, this is not the case of a diary a person keeps to record one's ideas and feelings. However, even in this case, the person would come back and read his / her experiences. So it is easy to understand why reading and writing always come together.
I've read some of the posts on the nicenet and I noticed that writing and reading are an issue in some classes. At least, they are in mine. I liked the links you shared, especially, Marija's http://www.superlame.com/. I think it is really great, and I have already thought of making comics. I think it should motivate the students, and it will also boost creativity.
I've already tried it and I liked it. This is the result!
Hi Vicky,
ReplyDeleteAt least you look like you are in week four. Reading is a problem to me now since the material for week four is plenty. I am just archiving the lot for later reading after the race of 10 weeks. 37 days to go ha...Its like 37 kilometers of a marathon! No end in Site yet!!!

Hi,Vicky!
ReplyDeleteWe read a lot of worth issues, search a lot of sites and then we write and speak about it.It is very pleasant to do it.It is our beautiful global interaction, communication, learning, sharing the ideas. And we have a lot of time to do it with great pleasure.
Have a good time!
Oh my God, I just love your photo with a speech bubble and I’m so happy and if I may say proud of the fact that you liked my link so much, that you have actually tried it out! I truly hope your students will like it as much. I also like your message or should I say a thought in a bubble and if I may say I like you better when you’re smiling, you look more positive and happier than in your profile picture :)

Hi Vicky!
ReplyDeleteI guess every teacher faces problems which have to do with all the taught skills! It's the extent to which s/he faces them that changes the situation in the classroom. I must admit that I didn't have the time to look at all the propsed links on the Nicenet, so it was a pleasant surprise to me to see (and actually try) this website here! Thank you both to you and to Marija of course!
